Biography
A career in regulated environments
Jeffery R. Bray is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Preceptum LLC, headquartered in Holladay, Utah. As the founder and chief executive of healthcare and technology companies, his work has spanned governance, strategy, regulatory compliance, organizational culture and innovation.
His career has crossed regulatory affairs, current good manufacturing practice operations and pharmacy compounding, building the practical view of regulated institutions that informs his board work. He has led organizations through multi-state growth, strategic partnerships, organizational turnarounds, technology adoption and capital allocation.
He serves on nonprofit, for-profit and advisory boards across healthcare, technology, research, private equity backed organizations, industry advocacy and philanthropy. His committee experience includes Governance and Nominating, Audit, Executive and Compensation, with particular focus on governance effectiveness, enterprise risk, cybersecurity, AI oversight and organizational performance.
His current focus is the governance of artificial intelligence in healthcare, which he treats first as a matter of oversight, accountability and human judgment and second as a technical capability.
